Felipe Hernández

Felipe joined FRV in 2008, assuming different leading roles. Among others he has been head of engineering, Head of Assets Management and Business Development manager in MEA region, being based in Dubai office for 5 years.

Since 2019 Felipe has been in charge of create the FRV-X project, a new business unit inside FRV. FRV-X has been designed to explore and develop new business models, based in the combination of Renewable Energy, digital capabilities and innovative markets approaches.

Before joined FRV, he was technical manager for Spain market in a German PV EPC contractor (CitySolar) and Project manager in a construction company (Elecnor)

Felipe holds an Industrial Engineer’s degree by Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, with a master’s in mechanical engineering. Felipe also holds and Executive MBA by IE business School, with honors.

  • The inclusion of storage – making the business case for it
  • Grid services you can provide – finding the right group of services for your project’s economics
  • Taking a wider look at a project and optimising assets
  • Finding the sweet spot between CAPEX and revenue
