Javier García works as vice-president in the MUFG Structured Finance Energy team in London covering the EMEA region with a focus on Southern Europe. MUFG continues to be at the forefront of project finance as it has been recently awarded Global Bank of the year (2022) by PFI.
Javier has more than 15 years’ experience originating and structuring Project Finance transactions in different jurisdictions across EMEA and in the Americas and in a wide variety of sectors and asset classes, in both the infrastructure and the renewable energy space.
Javier joined MUFG in 2020 and previously held different structured finance positions in Bankia (Spain and US).
Javier holds a MSc in Civil Engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid and MSc in Public Infrastructure and Utilities Management.
