José Carlos López is Vice president of business development EMEA at NovaSource Power Services, where he is responsible for the strategic growth in the region.
Prior to NSPS he held managerial positions in some of the most important IPPs (SunPower, Atlas) and also co-founded and was CEO of a company specialized in Project development and O&M services (REPSA Group).
He started his career in energy as a commissioning engineer of substations in 2008 before moving to business development and getting experience in the EMEA region.
He has a mechanical and electrical engineering degree from the Universidad Del Valle de Mexico as well as a Master in energy business from the Instituto Español de la Energia in Madrid, Spain. He is currently an executive MBA candidate at the ESMT (European School of Management and Technology) Berlin, Germany.
