Manuel Fonseca e Silva has a degree in Physics Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon.
Since 2019 he’s heading Aquila’s Development and Construction team in Portugal, where he oversees a 700 MW solar portfolio.
Previously, he worked at Martifer Renewables managing the development, construction and operation of wind farms and solar plants in different countries. Firstly, as Country Manager in Romania where he managed a 600 MW wind portfolio and later on in Portugal where, from 2013 onwards, he was Martifer’s representative at the Ventinveste wind consortium.
