Pedro Pereira

Pedro Pereira graduated with a Business Administration & Management degree from the Catholic University of Portugal. He worked for seven years as a consultant in the IT field and then took a full time MBA at ESADE Business School in Barcelona, ranked #1 business school worldwide by the Wall Street Journal at that time.

From mid-2007 to mid-2015 he took different executive and director roles at Martifer Solar, a global leader in the Solar industry acquired by Voltalia in 2016, both in Europe and North America. In mid-2016, after one year in the venture capital area, he returned to the renewable energy field with the aim of opening the Southern European markets on behalf of Eurowind Energy, a Danish IPP with more than 1,6GW of wind and solar assets under management across Europe. Under his leadership, currently, the group has a large pipeline under development and construction in Portugal, Spain and Italy.

Since 2007, Pedro Pereira has been directly involved in the startup, growth, restructuring and turnaround of different subsidiaries, encompassing both organic business development and M&A activities (from both buy and sell sides). He participated in several conferences as chair and speaker, given interviews to multiple media channels and played an important role in lobbying for the long-term stability of the renewable energy regulatory framework in different countries in Europe.
