Shawn heads up the global solar and energy storage team at Natural Power. He has over 15 years of experience in solar photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage system technology, incentive programs, policy, performance, and installation methods. He has evaluated a dozen state solar incentive programs (over 10,000 PV systems), evaluated utility solar technical and market potential, developed installation technical requirements, and performed testing and performance analysis. Shawn specializes in installation quality management and has run quality assurance programs totalling more than 6,500 hands-on inspections and analysis of those results to guide training for myriad audiences. Shawn currently leads a variety of solar and energy storage projects around the world.

Across Europe, there are GW of solar projects and portfolios which would benefit from repowering but the attention and the money is largely flooding into new build. The repercussions could be stark in the event of a severe health and safety issue but moreover, companies could be benefitting from much higher-yielding assets.
