Barney Jeffcoat Dick

Barney Jeffcoat Dick is the Head of Central Development EMEA for Lightsource bp in the EMEA region. He began his career in bp’s energy trading business, focusing on both LNG and oil markets. Over the past six years at Lightsource bp, Barney has worked on identifying new markets for expansion and developing ​significant solar projects, including leading the company’s largest solar farm in the UK at that time and the first co-located solar PV and battery energy storage system project.

Most recently, he has led a team dedicated to advancing solar, battery energy storage, and hybrid projects across Europe, working collaboratively in markets such as Greece, Poland, Portugal, and Germany. With a continuous drive for innovation, Barney seeks to improve efficiency and effectiveness in solar development across the region.
