Dr. Yi Deng

Dr. Yi Deng is a highly accomplished and versatile professional with an extensive background in technology consulting, project management, process engineering and product development in various industries, including chemical, semiconductor and solar.

He finished his Ph.D. work in Chemical Engineering at Max Planck Institute for Coal Research, Germany in 2000. After his post-doctoral work at Freiburg University in 2003, he started his career at Degussa AG (now Evonik) in Germany as Technical Service Manager. In 2007 he joined Solibro GmbH, a manufacturer of thin film solar modules, and later Solibro Hitech GmbH, as a process engineer, technology expert, project manager and product management manager. In 2020, he worked as a technology consultant at China Chemical Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. (a company of CNCEC).

He joined Astronergy in 2023 as European Product & Technical Service Manager, responsible for product development and technical support for European customers.
