Jan Libicek

Jan Libicek is an Investment Director at Bluefield Partners and oversees European investments. Jan started working in the renewable energy sector in 2009, and since then he has been involved in over €1.5 billion of renewable energy transactions across four continents. With a wealth of experience in both developed and emerging markets, Jan has a thorough understanding of project development and acquisitions, EPC management, divestment, and project finance. Prior to joining the Bluefield Group, he spent 5 years in Tokyo, where he was in charge of strategy and investments at TerraForm Power in Japan and several emerging markets in Southeast Asia. Before that, Jan worked at Canadian Solar, a global leader in PV technology and project development, where he successfully closed multiple utility-scale transactions in Europe and Japan. Jan holds an MA in Law from the University of Oxford.
