Miguel graduated with a Electrical Engineering degree with specialisation in Renewable Energy from the Engineering Faculty of Porto (FEUP), Portugal. And has worked throughout his career in the development and construction of renewable energy projects, having experience at all levels of the development chain. With relevant experience acquired with passages through companies such as Self Energy, Soares da Costa SA, Siemens and Siemens Energy, where he was able to develop several GW of renewable energy projects in different regions of the globe. He worked in different positions such as site manager, construction manager, bid manager, project manager and sales manager where he had the opportunity to lead and coordinate different teams in different projects.

Since the end of 2022, Miguel has joined Eurowind Energy, a Danish IPP with more than 1,6GW of wind and solar assets under management across Europe, to be responsible for the Business Development area in Portugal, with clear focus to develop new opportunities for renewable projects considering options such as repowering, hybridization and P2X.
