Christian Barba Rodulfo

Christian Barba is the Director of the EU Energy Storage Analytics Unit at, where he has been working since 2020.

Prior to joining EDPR, Christian was Business Development Director at Cobra group where he was responsible for the Business Development of IPP and EPC projects in Africa and Europe for a wide amount of technologies including hybrid plants, batteries, biomass, wind farms, solar PV, thermosolar and hydrogen.

Christian also spent more than 10 years in engineering and construction firms, most recently as International Director. He has more than 15 years of experience, 10 of them in the renewables and environment fields.

Christian earned an International Executive MBA from IE business School, and a MSc degree in Infrastructure Engineering.
